About Me

My name is Andrew Swiderski.

I am a creative living in Ridgewood, Queens, currently working as a freelance video editor.

I have several years of experience working in post-production, primarily working on branded content, short and long-form documentaries, cooking shows, beauty tutorials, music videos, news segments, and much more.

Currently, I am working freelance as an assistant editor for McCann Worldgroup/Craft Worldwide. I primarily work on putting together advertising pitches with creatives and editors for companies like Microsoft, Mastercard, Sonic, NYX, MRM, etc.

Prior to this, I spent over 2 years working at VICE Media Group as an Assistant Editor. I worked on a wide array of content for all of their verticals including VICE World News, Refinery29, Munchies, Noisey, VICE TV, VICE Digital, and primarily VICE’s Branded team, where I cut my teeth working on videos for Fortune 500 companies. I helped deliver videos digitally and for broadcast. I also worked extensively on editing and tailoring cutdowns for delivery on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Tik-Tok, and Twitter.

Outside of my work in post-production, I am a musician. I love synthesizers, samplers, programming sequencers and drum machines, and experimenting with all kinds of hardware. I enjoy learning the ins-and-outs of new gear and finding unique ways to use instruments and hardware. I also play guitar, bass, and piano.

On top of recording my own music, run a music archive Youtube channel. I record & source live performances, master them, and archive them on my channel. My Youtube videos have been featured in publications such as Stereogum, Pitchfork, NME, and Brooklyn Vegan.

In my free time, I enjoy to spend time outdoors hiking, canoeing, and bicycling. I also love traveling and exploring the world. I am a big fan of screen-printing, and love designing and printing t-shirts at home.
